創業時期,穩健經營

三本貿易有限公司於一九八一年十月由劉永浩先生創立,當年稱為三本貿易公司,以經銷日本食品,尤以日本調味料、配菜等為主流產品。
一九八二年,「三本」從日本進口蟹柳、八爪魚等日式小食,以此進軍中式食肆。
一九八三年,本公司從日本輸入「都一」烏冬麵,為香港首家採用整個貨櫃輸入烏冬麵之入口商,並加強向中式酒樓、火窩店及超級市場推銷,替這種日本麵食開拓了一個龐大市場。
一九八五年,本公司取得「珍味牌」烏冬麵的香港總經銷權,並迅速成為全港銷量最高的烏冬麵。

Early History

Mitsumoto Trading Company Limited, formerly named Mitsumoto Trading Company, has been on of the leading Japanese food suppliers in Hong Kong since it was founded in October 1981 by Mr. Lau Wing Ho. The company specializes in the distribution of food items and ingredients for Japanese cuisine.
Capitalizing in the market potential in local Chinese restaurants, Mitsumoto began to import Kanistick (crab meat) and Iidako (octopus) from Japan in 1982.
In 1983 Mitsumoto became the first company in Hong Kong to import Japanese udon via a complete container cargo. The first brand introduced was Miyakoichi, followed by the famous Shinmi brand in 1985, which became the most popular udon in Hong Kong soon after Mitsumoto was appointed the local sole agent.

近年發展,積極進取

一九八七年,香港掀起日式料理熱潮,本公司之業務同時迅速發展,營業直線上升。 而員工數目亦增至超逾三十名以上。現時客戶超過一千名,包括中式食肆、酒店、超級市場及酒廊等。

Recent Development

Around 1987, Japanese food became the cuisine in Hong Kong, and the demand for Japanese food items and ingredients keeps increasing since then.
Taking advantage of the market situation, Mitsumoto began to expand, with substantial increase in sales figures. More than 30 staff were recruited. We served over 1,000 customers, including Chinese restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and lounges.

自置物業,擴充設施

一九八八年,由於業務發展迅速,為配合長遠發展,本公司自置物業於現址,總面積接近三千平方呎,附設寬敝貨倉,並大量增添設備,以確保存充足;內置大型新鮮蔬菜櫃、眝存魚肉類製成品之急凍櫃,更設置一部攝氏零下八十度的日式刺身超低溫凍櫃,以最佳條件貯存最優良貨品。
並於同年(一九八八年),本公司更全面投入電腦化計算存貨、訂貨、開發票等工作,提高工作效率。
一九九零年十月一日,本公司改組為有限公司。劉永浩先生出任董事總經理,區玉枝女士則任董事一職。
於一九九一年,本公司進軍大中華,與北京、上海、廣州及大連的公司建立合作關係以服務內地客戶。
一九九八年,本公司更自置物業於新界粉嶺以擴設分行,為九龍及新界區客戶提供更佳服務。

Equipped for Better Service

To cope with fast-growing business, Mitsumoto acquired its own premises in 1988. The warehouse, covering a total floor area of over 3,000 sq. ft., is well-equipped. Besides standard freezers for the storage of fresh vegetables and fish products, it also includes a hi-tech freezer capable of reaching -80°C for storing sashimi. Ample space in the new headquarters also ensures sufficient supply of stock all year round.
Mitsumoto also computerize in the same year for inventory control, ordering, invoicing, etc. This has greatly enhanced the company's productivity and efficiency.
Following the restructuring of the company on 1st October, 1990, Mr. Lau became Managing Director and Ms. Sally Au was appointed Director.
In 1991 Mitsumoto expanded into China, where offices were set up in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Dalian, with partnership companies to serve clients all over the country.
Mitsumoto acquired another premises in 1998 for a branch in Fanling, serving customers in Kowloon and New Territories.

產品多元,以質取勝

本公司所經銷的產品,質優價實,大部份皆原裝由日本入口,絕不將貨就價。
目前本公司經銷之產品超過五百種,可歸納為以下十八種類:味噌類、油類、漬物類、調味品類、米類、消耗品類、雜貨類、茶類、海苔類、麵類、木魚花類、醋類、酒類、蔬菜類、醬汁類、日本小食 / 冷凍品類 / 串燒類、冷凍肉類、魚 / 貝類、魚生類。
並獨家總經銷「美味牌」烏冬、「花舞」清酒、「本字」系列醬料及冷凍烏冬等 、「金九牌」之青芥辣和壽司薑及「平和」拉麵湯等。

Large Variety, Excellence in Quality

Mitsumoto is well noted for quality and value of its products, most of which are directly imported from Japan.
Mitsumoto now distributes more than 500 Japanese food items which can be grouped into 18 categories - Soya Bean Paste, Oil, Pickles, Spice, Rice, Expendables, Sundries, Tea, Seaweed, Noodle, Bonito, Vinegar, Wine, Vegetable, Sauce, Frozen Chamber & Grill Food, Frozen Meat, Fish & Shell, Otsukuri.
Mitsumoto is also the sole agent in Hong Kong selling Bimi Udon, Hananomai Sake (Japanese rice wine), Kaneku Wasabi & Sushi shoga (green horseradish paste & sushi ginger ), “本” range products (seasoning & frozen udon) and Heiwa Ramen Soup (Japanese noodle soup base).
